| Are these games are only started by Admin, or can anybody make one? I noticed there wasn't anything in the sci-fi category, and I wondered if I could post a game there given the time. | |

hmmmm... Something to consider. I have a friend who is supposed to eventually join and run some games himself. He's been busy in RL though, so in time he'll be on here. So for now I'm going to say no.

| So... other users cannot start an RP of their own? That's a bit odd, really. What if I'd send an idea over? Would the Admin just claim it or something? I don't really see why other users can't start a thread. If the admin doesn't like it or if the RPG does not follow the rules, he or she shoudl just say so and/or delete it. Simple as that. | |

| Hello blaise, welcome to the site.
The rules are simple and clearly layed out. I'm sorry you don't like them, but... Those are the rules. It allows us to control content. Another reason for this rule is so that we don't offend every member who joins and starts up a game by deleting it. We are still a new site and finding enough people to play the games we have is hard enough, imagine the lack of gaming we would have if there were twenty some odd games going.
It's actually not that uncommon of a rule either. I've been a member of three pbp rpg websites, and two of them had this rule... The other was more free-for-all like the way you are describing.
And no, we would not steal someone else's idea and run it as our own. Ever. I'm not even sure which orifice you pulled that assumption from, but I'm guessing it doesn't smell pleasant. (insery smiley face)
Anyway, I encourage you to stick around and join in. Hopefully you'll find us to your liking, but if not the internet is a big place.

| Ah, no, sorry. That just didn't come out right. What I meant was... What if you submit an idea to the admin? Would it be possible that your idea might be used (with consent I mean) by the admin? As in, "please use my idea!", that is. | |

Oh, I see. Yeah, that's completely different than what I thought you were saying. Sorry about that. If you submitted an idea, the admins would look at it and if they agree that it sounds awesome (with your consent) we would run it. One of our members actually submitted an idea to me, so yeah. Only contingency I'll note is that currently we're still a small group. So it might be a while before anything happens with it.

| Hey speak for yourself Fire Couch. If I see a cool idea, you can bet your bippy I'll be stealing it. And probably trying to sell it too. I'll make millions. Then comes the movie version. I'll make hundreds of millions. THEN comes the Burger King glass contract. Now we are talking billions.
And when I have enough money that I can literally sleep on nothing but a pile of hundred dollar bills that get thrown away each week, I'll come back to the site and laugh. Laugh at each and every one of you and thank you for the ideas that I stole. And if you sue me, my hired goons will make you disappear overnight, so don't try any shit with me, capiche?
