| Eddie and Fe start to walk off towards the jungle when the male stripper and two crew men join them. For details go to the threadTwo other groups are forming to explore along the beach to the East and West, but a lot of people stay behind on the beach. Rick's half-brother Johnny and some distant cousin help to carry the body into the shade, laying palms across it to keep the body as cool as possible. It wouldn't do to have Rick stinking up the area. Meanwhile Tony finds a large flat rock that will have to serve as a shovel. It would be hard work, but Tony was up to the task given his history of strenuous workouts. | |

| Brandon is tired from all the commotion of the past day. He has not gotten any sleep since the start of this ordeal.
He makes his ways to the palm tree for a much needed rest.

| Captain Ron's second in command, Leon; spots Brandon lying in the shade of a palm. He shakes his head and lets out a short frustrated laugh. What a fucking idiot, he thinks as he walks over to the Captain's mots recent hire. He nudges Brandon mostly gently with his shoe.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Leon asks, his brit accent coming on especially thick. "There is too much to be done for napping."
[OOC: You're seriously making me consider including a word minimum. I don't want to do that because I find it so restrictive, but I fear that if I don't you'll just keep posting at a third grade reading level like this.]

| I can't handle this shit Jason thinks to himself. I need to clear my head and get away from everyone else maybe then I can think of a way to deal with this. Thinking this he heads off along the beach to find a calm place to sit down. | |

| Tony continues to dig a hole in the sand, Rick's half brother Johnny joining in. In a few hours they have the hole waist deep, an appropriate depth for a grave. All they need to do now is widen the hole out enough to fit the body inside. As the sun rises higher into the sky it becomes hotter and hotter on the island and both Tony and Johnny are parched.
"We should take a break," Jonny says; "before we die under the sun out here."
Jason sits comfortably under the shade of a tree away from the drama of the rest of the camp. He jumps a little when he hears something behind him and turns to see a short naked man with dark skin standing behind him with a large bone fashioned as a club in his hand. Jason doesn't have time to react before the man smacks him fiercely in the head with his club. Then everything goes dark.

| At first Tony waves away the thought of taking a break, but as he tries to work up enough spit to swallow he realises that his cousin is right. He sets his flat rock down and climbs out of the hole.
"Alright," he says.
"You want to grab a couple beers from our pit?" Johnny asks.
Tony almost laughs. He'd forgotten all about the little beer pit that he and his cousin had dug, and after all that hard work a nice cold brewski would really hit the spot. "Hell yeah," he says with half hearted enthusiasm.
Johnny leads his to the pit they dug in the sand, it is still mostly accessible, though they do have to dig a little sand aside to get to them. The beers were cool to the touch, though not nearly as cool as he would have liked. Still though, they were refreshing. When they finished the first bottles they each grabbed a second, drinking part of it before returning to work with their beers nearby to sip at.
"That really hit the spot," Tony says. "Hopefully we can finish this up soon and get Rick in there... Give him a proper burial."

| Rick's cousin and half-brother get back digging and make good progress, digging almost two feet deeper when they strike something hard. Tony hit it first, his shovel jarring in his arms. He thought it was a rock at first, but he drove the shovel down in a few other places and it seemed too level to be just a rock. It sounded like iron.

| Tony worked hard to dig around the object, the sand falling in to fill half of what he dug out. But that's what it had been doing for the last few hours and he expected no less.
He strained his eyes to see what it was, a rectangular box of steel. He lifted it up and took it out of the hole. It was old but in pretty good condition considering that it had been bured on a beach for however long.

| Mick looked around in confusion. HE was on a beach. That much was certain. How he had come to be there was a bit fuzzy. A party. A storm! Violla! Out comes a beach? He had better find someone else from the wreck and see what people were planning! Oh crux! What if there were no survivors? Be cool man. There are others.he hoped. | |

| Mick's head was pounding as more and more fragments of memory from the previous two days came back to him. He'd been on the beach with the other survivors, aboard one of the inflatable life rafts that the yacht was equipped with.
They'd built shelters and had a fire, feasting on the perishable food items from the yacht and drinking to excess. He'd wandered off at some point in the night, heading up the beach to eventually pass out.
Looking at the ground, he could see a trail of prints in the sand that lead back to the camp; the prints in the sand are uneven and at some points the person who made them had apparently fallen. They were likely his own.
Elsewhere:
The metal box that Tony and Johnny pulled out of the hole had a rudimentary lock on it. It was heavy, despite its relatively small size (2 feet by three feet and a foot deep). There was definately something inside.

| "I'd better find something to make myself useful", thinks Mick. He scans the ground for sharp shells or flat rocks. Maybe I can fabricate a hammer and some shell blades. While Searching he finds a stick and quickly goes about making a rudimentary sun dial. "You see Billie, it REALLY IS easy! Just set the stick into the ground and make a circle in the dirt or sand around it. Scribe another line where the shadow of the stick falls and if you have a watch or other clock to start with you note the hour. Otherwise you can mark sun up, midday, and sundown and work from there," he tells himself just for fun. He pretends to be a TV host talking to his audience. Then continues on toward(OOC the fire still?)his goal. "Let's not forget to put as many different shaped and weighted rocks and shells in our bag as we can(he is wearing a back back, cargo pants, 8 hole boots and a jersey material long sleeve shirt and a ballcap). you never know what we made need to make"! | |
